About RetroHead GameStore

Welcome to RetroHead GameStore, where the classics live on, memories stay alive, and real gaming never gets left behind.

RetroHead was built out of a deep appreciation for the era that made gaming unforgettable. For many of us who grew up in the 80s and 90s, it wasn’t just about video games. It was an entire culture. Friday nights meant trips to Blockbuster. Action movies had real action stars. Everything had color, attitude, and personality. The arcades, the consoles, the soundtracks, and the artwork on the cases all felt larger than life.

Gaming wasn’t something you downloaded. It was something you held in your hands.

You had the cartridge. The disc. The manual. The case art. You sat down with friends, passed the controller around, and stayed up way too late trying to beat that one impossible level.

Those experiences meant something.

Today things are very different. Games are becoming digital downloads, subscriptions, and services. Everything lives on a a screen, and too often the experience disappears just as quickly as it arrives. In a world where everything is moving toward digital, it’s easy for the magic of physical gaming to slowly fade away.

RetroHead GameStore was created because those experiences are worth preserving.

We believe games should be something you can hold, collect, protect, and pass down. They should not be something that can disappear from a server.

This store is also something personal for me as a father. Being able to share the games and systems from this era with my son has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. Watching someone experience retro gaming for the first time reminds you just how special these games really are.

Truthfully, I just miss what gaming used to feel like.

Many kids today may never experience what gaming felt like back then. The excitement of opening a new cartridge. Hearing a console power on. Discovering a game that becomes part of your childhood.

That’s why RetroHead exists.

To keep those experiences alive.

Every game and console we sell is tested and checked before it reaches a customer because retro deserves respect and gamers deserve quality. Whether you're rebuilding a childhood collection, discovering retro gaming for the first time, or introducing it to the next generation, RetroHead is here to keep that spark alive.

RetroHead GameStore specializes in retro video games, classic gaming consoles, and collectible titles from systems like Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, PlayStation, Sega Genesis, GameCube, Xbox, and many more. Our goal is to make it easy for collectors and gamers to buy retro games and keep classic gaming alive across Canada and the United States.

Today RetroHead proudly serves retro gamers and collectors across Canada and the United States, offering shipping, local delivery in the Niagara Region, and curbside pickup.

Thank you for being part of this mission. Here you are not just a customer. You are part of a community that refuses to let gaming’s greatest era fade away.
